DESCRIPTION:This is a powerful day where you will be introduced to some of the most ancient and revered instruments from around the world: the conch\, horn\, Himalayan singing bowl\, Didgeridoo and of course the magnificent gongs. \nOlaf’s way of working with sound is completely intuitive and directed by spirit in co-creation with our energies on the day\, so it will be quite unique and exciting. \nWe will spend some time meditating on the different sounds of these instruments and experiencing how we feel in our bodies. \nThis will give a greater understanding of how sound affects us personally and those around us. We will work especially closely with the gongs during the day\, to aid our personal journey. \nYou will have the opportunity to get to know and play with some of the instruments that Olaf brings along to this workshop.

DESCRIPTION:Join us as we explore the deeper meaning of sound and how it can enhance our lives. Himalayan Singing Bowls\, Shruti’s\, Didgeridoos\, Conches\, Horns\, Flutes\, Mantra’s\, Sacred Toning\, and Voice harmonics\, all ancient and revered instruments used to create sound. \nBut what is sound really? \nWe live in a world surrounded by it\, both external and internal. Our words can bring great joy and also sadness depending on how we use them and are a combination of tones that create form\, that we call words. \nIn this mini workshop we shall spend some time meditating on different sounds\, both man made using some of the instruments mentioned above and those that occur naturally in nature. \nWe shall be experiencing how we feel in our bodies and in so doing have a greater understanding of how sound affects us personally and those around us. The evening will end in meditation.

DESCRIPTION:In Sonic Yoga we will be working gently\, yet deeply in the body\, using yoga poses to help us to release\, expand and connect with our Selves.  Alongside\, we will be using sound through a range of instruments such as the Gong\, Bowls\, Didgeridoo\, Flute and Tuning Forks which will be played whilst in poses\, either on or around the body.  We will also explore the use of the voice as our most powerful instrument by doing some simple toning to vibrate our whole being.  Sessions will end with a sonic relaxation with the Gongs. \n“What a treat to discover Sonic Yoga in Northampton!
