Whats happening in the Community
Sacred Sounds have been involved with community projects ever since we moved up to Northampton.
Over the years we have been blessed to have received funding from the following sources for our community work
Northamptonshire Community Foundation
The National Lottery Awards Community Fund
and most recently
The Peoples Health Trust for our Joyful Sounds Project
Our current project Joyful Sounds, is all about bringing individuals together through sound, be that Singing, Sound Relaxation, Karaoke or plays. We listen to the community and adjust based on what they would like, this resulted in our recent production of the Owl and the Pussycat, a joyful mix of spoken word, song and karaoke.
Experience has taught us that you just can not tell the benefits that might be experienced by those that come, that being said what is evident is the Joy and coming together of people that might otherwise never meet.
This is why we do it and why we will continue for as long as we can.
We have over a decade of experience working with the following groups;
Children and Adults with physical difficulties and additional needs.
Children and Adults with mental health issues.
People living with life challenging illnesses.
School experiential workshops to combat anxiety and stress
